We bring Europe's #1 wood fiber underlayment to American homes and job sites: a natural, soundproof flooring underlayment that performs better, lasts longer, and leaves a smaller footprint.
Sunco America is the U.S. distributor of STEICO wood fiber underlayment. We're headquartered in South Florida and ship fast from our warehouses in Indiana and Utah.
For over 10 years we've helped homeowners, installers, and retailers choose a better layer under their floors, with more than 10,000 projects completed across the U.S.
Whether you're a contractor flooring a multi-unit building or a homeowner putting down laminate for the first time, STEICO underlayment is easy to cut, easy to install, and forgiving on uneven subfloors. No tools, no glue, no fumes.
STEICO underlayment is made from sustainably harvested pine and spruce. It's quieter, sturdier, and healthier than synthetic underlayment:
Our team built and scaled STEICO distribution across Europe for over a decade before bringing it to the U.S. Today we handle everything from European sourcing and international logistics to U.S. warehousing, fulfillment, and customer support.
You'll find STEICO underlayment at major U.S. home improvement retailers, on Amazon, and right here.
Founded in 1986 as a two-person timber trading company, STEICO is now the world's #1 manufacturer of wood fiber construction materials, with large-scale production in Poland and France and headquarters near Munich, Germany. Its underlayment is a proven bestseller at major European retailers like B&Q, Leroy Merlin, Bauhaus, and OBI.
